SDGs - Sustainable Development Goals of the UN
In September 2015, 193 countries adopted the 2030 Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The Pro Ocean Project has set itself the task of integrating these important core messages into its work in the best possible way and therefore takes a holistic approach to linking nature conservation and sustainable development. In doing so, we directly support 12 of the 17 SDGs. We not only protect the oceans and beaches from plastic waste, but also promote awareness, fight poverty and thus in the long term – by protecting marine ecosystems – improve the living conditions of people and animals in one of the most biodiverse places on our planet.
We are happy to help you communicate your own impact with the SDGs.
